Ray Appel

Officer Appel has been a certified police officer since 1979.  He began his career with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department and then joined the Neenah Police Department in 1980.  Ray worked his way up through the ranks holding various positions within the organization.  He was appointed police chief in 2003 and held that position until he retired in 2009.  Ray continued his involvement with law enforcement by becoming the first Executive Director of the WI Law Enforcement Training Officers Association.  Ray has been an instructor in many law enforcement disciplines, and been appointed to numerous local and State Boards.  He has a Masters Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College.  Ray is one of our newest part-time officers.

Chris Baribeau

Officer Baribeau has been a certified police officer since 2010.  He is primarily employed with our neighboring jurisdiction, the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department.  He is working towards his bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with over 60 college credits.  Chris has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since September 2010. 

Israel Deutsch

Officer Deutsch has been a certified police officer since September 2006.  He works full for our neighboring jurisdiction, the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department and has previously worked for the WI DNR.  Israel has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from NWTC and recently completed Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training and is a certified DRE.  He has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since September of 2010.

Sharon Diedrick

Like most law enforcement support staff, Sharon is our most valuable resource. She has been serving the citizens of Wrightstown since 1983. In 1988 she was selected as the Village Court Clerk and splits her time between the court and taking care of the police department records and other police department administrative tasks. Through advanced schooling offered by UW Milwaukee, Sharon has been certified as a Professional Judicial Assistant.

Chris Farrell

Officer Farrell has been a certified police officer since March 2001.  He has prior law enforcement experience with the Phoenix, AZ and Oshkosh Police Departments.  Chris maintains instructor certifications in several law enforcement disciplines, with an emphasis in the legal arena.  Chris has a Master's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and is a graduate of Neenah High School.  Chris has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since August of 2006.

Dan Feucht

Officer Feucht has been a certified police officer since December 1978. He has prior law enforcement experience with the Appleton and Shawano Police Departments. Dan maintains instructor certifications in several law enforcement disciplines, with an emphasis in forensic science. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Marian College, Associate Degrees in Police Science and Fire Science from FVTC, and is a graduate of Campbellsport High School. Dan has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since December of 2007.

Mark Kohl

Officer Kohl has been a certified police officer since December 1980.  He has prior law enforcement experience with the Fox Valley Metro, Shawano, and Combined Locks Police Departments.   Mark has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since March of 2008.

Jeff Kola

Corporal Kola has been a certified police officer since September 2007.  He has prior law enforcement experience with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s department, Omro and Slinger Police departments.  Jeff has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Fox Valley Technical College and is a graduate of Flathead High School in Kalispell, MT.  Jeff has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since July of 2007.  He was promoted to his present rank and hired as a full time officer January 1, 2009.

Ayron Otto

Officer Otto has been a certified police officer since June 2006. He has prior law enforcement experience with the Combined Locks and Kaukauna Police Departments. Ayron has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Fox Valley Technical College and is a graduate of Oconomowoc High School. Ayron has been working part-time with the Wrightstown Police Department since December of 2007.

Bill Pagel

Officer Pagel recently completed the WI Law Enforcement Recruit Academy at FVTC.  He was recognized by his peers for his leadership during the course.  Bill is a veteran of the US Air Force and was a certified police officer in California working many years in both the prison system and with the California Highway Patrol.  He moved back to WI a few years ago and started his own successful automotive business.  Bill grew up in New Holstein and comes from a family rich in law enforcement.  He lives in the Village of Wrightstown and is one of our newest part-time officers.

Michel Ruelle

Officer Ruelle has been a certified police officer since March of 2001.  He is working towards an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice with over 60 college credits.  Mike's past experience includes duties with the Menomonee County Sheriff's Department, Bonduel and Pulaski Police Departments.  He served as the police chief for Bonduel and is a graduate of the Executive Development Institute through FVTC.  Mike is one of our newest part-time officers.

John Sorenson

Officer Sorenson has been a certified police officer since September 2001.  John spent 10 years with the WI State Patrol before joining the staff at FVTC as an Instructor.  He holds instructor certifications in many law enforcement tactical areas and he also has a vast knowledge of truck enforcement issues.  John has a Master's Degree from Silver Lake College in Management and Organizational Behavior.  He is one of our newest part-time officers.
